ACTIVITY EVENTS // BOB RAFTING
The Bob Raft is a self-guiding and self-braking raft made of composite materials shaped like a bobsleigh and mounted on 20cm wide blades, foam padded for comfort and articulated lengthways and in rotation for sound stability. A thrill that is not far removed from that to be had in competition bobsleighs. The Bob Raft was invented to let the general public experience what it is like to travel down an Olympic Bobsleigh track but without the intenseness of Bobsleigh itself. Have a try at this thrilling sport on ice - 4 passengers can embark on a descent at the top speed of around 80km/h whilst experiencing a maximum of 2½ G's in a self-guiding and self-braking raft.
Based on 5 participants all taking part in the Bob Raft Experience - La Plagne - With return helicopter transfers to Megeve.
Restrictions
All participants must be taller than 1m30 - Under 18 years need parents' consent, Under 14's need to have parents present. The Bob Raft is an ideal way of providing this thrill to teenagers and children that are tall enough to take part in the true Bobsleigh experience.
